The All NEW MacBook: First Impressions

Welcome back readers!

Today, we would like to share our thoughts on the new MacBook. Our initial impressions are, “Just why Apple?”

Apple introduced the new MacBook on March 9, 2015. We never thought of Apple to introduce the new MacBook with the specifications that they did. The new MacBook starts at $1,299 for the base model which has a processor clocked at 1.1 GHz but, it can be Turbo Boosted up to 2.4 GHz. If you decide to spend 300 more dollars, you will get the new MacBook with a 1.2 GHz processor which can be overclocked to 2.6GHz.

In our opinion, the specs are simply not worth the money. Although, the average blogger may love the new MacBook, the average prosumer will not. The MacBook will come in three colors. Those of which include, Gold, Space Gray, and Silver. Apple is doing very well with the new colors in our opinion but, we wish the specifications would be better. Apple has also introduced the new MacBook with a 12 inch Retina Display. This means the display on the new MacBook will without a doubt be absolutely gorgeous but, once again are the specifications enough to meet your standards? Another thing about the new MacBook is that is has a new connector called USB-Type C. USB-Type C is an all in one port. It will allow charging, multiple displays, syncing, and much more. There is only one USB-Type C port on the MacBook which seems to be hard for some people. Apple is selling multiple accessories that can be plugged into the USB-Type C port on the new MacBook to allow more stuff to be plugged into it.

Sure, USB-Type C is the future of connection ports. Sadly, the future simply is not quite here yet.
